To train the next generation of physicians to be leaders and to practice empathy, collaboration, self-directed learning, and respect for others.

While every medical college provides a curriculum and diplomas to become a physician, BRUCOM focus on the following goals:

To develop scholarly programs that will help develop leaders in research
To provide individuals with skills to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data for use in evidence based clinical decision making for diagnosis, management, and prevention of disease
To foster the ability to be good colleagues and work with an interdisciplinary team
To foster a human approach to medicine with respect to communication with patients, family, and the community
To promote self-learning and create a scholarly environment made up of students, faculty with community partners
