Student Affairs provides programs and services that support the optimal growth of BRUCOM students, enhance their intellectual, social, cultural and physical development, and complement BRUCOM’s academic excellence by providing opportunities for students to experience education and explore interests beyond the classroom.

Student Life is here for you, ready and eager to help all students get the most out of their experiences at our great university and make St. Lucia, West Indies home. With Student Life, you can find your own niche on campus; connect with students within or beyond your classrooms, and get involved in student organizations, leadership opportunities, and choose the housing and dining and living options that work best for you.

The Office of Student Affairs strives to enhance your opportunities as a student to participate fully in the university experience.

LIFE IN VIEUX FORT TOUR

During Orientation students may request for the tour of the city of Vieux Fort- University Town of St. Lucia. Students will be shown where the local food stores, fast food places, restaurants, beaches, gyms and student hangout locations are. This service is provided to help students get familiar with the areas surrounding the University.

ALL ISLAND TOUR

Students who are interested in taking a tour of the island may contact Student Services for more details on how to arrange a day trip. Island tours may include: Visiting the island’s capital- Castries, the beaches of Rodney & Marigot Bay, duty free shopping, drive in Volcano in Soufriere, Botanical Garden and the famous Pitons & Diamond Waterfalls.

Student Organizations

Whether you join as a member or choose to lead one, simply taking part in an extracurricular group will enhance your school experience. Students are encouraged to explore options for involvement in a broad array of organizations related to health and the practice of medicine, religion, ethnicity, nationality, professional focus, commitment to diversity and volunteerism.
